Dit is een hard soort piepschuim. Wellicht is dat ook bruikbaar.

Ook ik zit veel te ruim in mijn (oeroude Icefloe) vrachtboot.
In tegenstelling tot de hedendaagse jeugd van onder de 65 overweeg ik geen nieuwe boot aan te schaffen. De gedachten gaan in de richting van aanpassen.
Tijdens de roll clinic op 23 januari jl werd mij aan den krakkemikkige lijve (bouwjaar + gebeurtenissen met motorrijwielen enzo die geen navolging verdienen) duidelijk dat bootcontact belangrijk is.
Praktisch probleem is nu welk type schuimmateriaal is goed bruikbaar? Gesloten cellen lijkt handig, anders zit je met je knieën tegen een forse natte spons aan, die je zwaartepunt verknoeit in opwaartse richting.
Hwb noemt al de lijm, weet iemand een merknaam of type aanduiding voor het schuim? Dank voor tips,

Je moet ook niet vergeten dat je moe wordt dat is vaak ook een reden waardoor je minder strak in je boot komt te zitten. Dat schuim waar je het over hebt, als ik denk te weten wat jij bedoelt dan laat dat na een paar keer nat worden los. Je kan het beste van dat schuim kopen dat ook voor de allergoedkoopste slaapmatjes wordt gebruikt en dat er vervolgens in lijmen met Bison tix. Dat is gegarandeerd goed. Ook je zit positie is belangrijk.

Je moet zoveel mogelijk met je knieen naar buiten zitten. Zelf zit ik met mijn knieen bijna tegen de zijkant aan. Dit om het simpele feit..... kracht x arm.
Hoe groter de arm hoe minder kracht je nodig hebt.
Wat je bij de Nordkapp's ziet is dat ze een klein stukje schuim in het midden van het onder deks hebben. Hier heb je naar mijn idee helemaal niks aan.
Je moet wel zo'n rare draai maken dat het erg lastig is om de boot op die manier rond te krijgen.

En dan als laatste!

Hoe strakker die zit hoe beter!!! Als je nog net geen schoenlepel nodig hebt om hem aan te doen dan zit die goed!
